Anyone know if Free Hunting Pictures. com is still in business?

The site went down about to weeks ago. Haven't really heard when they would have it back up. I broke down and bought a subscription to Villiage Photos. So far it is working great. They do have a good free version, but the pictures have to be reduced quite a bit to use it.

Hunt n nut...the reason for downsizing the pictures is the file size your seeing at hunting pictures takes so darn long to load on most computers. I believe the hunting pictures are bit-map format being so large. A jpeg takes a lot less time and space. You might want to look into imagestation.com for building albums for posting photos.

Does not look like hunting-pictures is going to be back. There is a free picture hosting site at Alloutdoorschat.com. They give you a free site to put your pictures on. It also does not have those banners like hunting-pictures did.

I don't like giving my pictures to imagestation.com. To most people this is not a big deal, but what if you get a picture that is worth some money and want to put it on the web? Check the privacy polices for any free hosting site. If you make money off of pictures, giving them away is not the way to go.
