Just got back from a 12 mile overnite canoe camp trip. Weather was great, water was a little muddy from the recent storms, but son and I had a wonderful time. Only forgot 2 things: butter, and camera. So scratch baked potatoes from the dinner menu. We fished a little, loafed a lot, and took our time getting down stream. We grilled steaks and baked onions for dinner, fried sausage and eggs for breakfast. Caught a smallish 14" catfish and a little smallmouth was all. When I can catch the river in the right condition, we'll go back and clean house on the bass. And I'll take the camera for sure.

Seems like the camera is about the easiest thing to forget, and usually the worst thing to forget.
