SB 112 (BR 1279) - R. Stivers
AN ACT relating to cervids.
Amend KRS 150.720, relating to cervids, to ban importation or transportation of cervids from captive herds or states where chronic wasting disease has been found; permit destruction of escaped animals; amend KRS 150.990 to provide criminal penalties for violators and permit recovery of costs.

I have asked both my Senator & Representative to oppose any bill that would transfer support of our states deer & elk herds from the KDFWR. I also asked my Senator to support the above bill. Hope it helps!

Also, you can to to the Kentucky state legislature website & navigate a few menus to find your Representative & Senator's e-mail addresses.

That's become my "weapon of choice[:)]"!

go to "www .lrc.state.ky.us" <--- link wasn't working.. just close the space when you type it in.... then click on "who's who", then "by county"
