I want to congratulate Ronnie Wells as he goes into his second term as President of the LKS. Ronnie ran uncontested, which shows he must be doing something right. The LKS is headed in the right direction. Membership has grown and continues to do so.

The fact that Ronnie was even there this weekend shows his true devotion to the job at hand. Ronnie has a serious burn on his leg and needed to be off his feet. I'm sure the convention weighed heavily on his decision not to seek medical assistance. Let's hope he heels without further complications.

And also, thanks to Willie Edmonds and Dan Caycee of the 1st District for putting on a fine show. It went well and was a pretty successful event.

Thanks to everyone. Hopefully with your help we can grow the league into a national power as sportsmen's organization are concerned.

Wow, no kiddin. Here's to hopin for a quick recovery. Wish i could assist alittle more in the LKS resurgence. I guess i could quit my job:confused:

I have attented the last 7 conventions, I have looked at the treasurer's reports from those times. In the past year the LKS has had a 6% GROWTH! First time in many years. I contribute this to Mr. Wells and the members that have stepped up to make a change. I really think the large ship has turned around.

Congratulations Ronnie.

Yes, the league is growing, and that is good for Kentucky Sportsmen. Jim Host was on target when he said it is good for all of the sportsman groups in Kentucky to join the LKS so that by power in numbers they can work for the benefit of our wildlife and fisheries.

BTW: The 9th picked up another club tonight.
