I'd buy a lot here locally somewhere in Warren County.

I think I would head north of the border, probably somewhere in Alberta, and buy "several" sections of land where I could hunt all the big game and especially the waterfowl.

That's probably about it as far as buying land. I sure would take plenty of nice trips though!

i am to young to play, but if i had that money I would build my mom her house, buy a bunch of land somewhere and build a lake on it with lots of prime hunting around it

KS, IA, or IL are the three that pop to mind first. Probably would be KS though. I miss that damn place something fierce!!!! With 215 mil, I'd probably just be a land baron and buy up all over!

I heard on the news the powerball ticket was bought in Idaho. I guess that rules out the new hummer. :D

Cumberland County. The land down there is still relatively undeveloped and would be a fantastic place to live if you were rich enough to not have to work (pretty depressed economy there from what I can tell, not many jobs).

One of these days retirees are going to make property values down there skyrocket when they see how beautiful and unpopulated that county is. If I was rich I'd buy a few hundred acres on the Cumberland River and never be heard from again.

Actually Col. Joe Bryant is doing a great job of that himself. I was at an auction on allens Creek last year and the 100+ acre farm and farmhouse sold for $367,000

if i had won that much money, i would have the oil changed in my truck instead of doing it myself, get my lawn mower a new spark plug, and buy some new line for my fishing pole. i guess my wife would spend the rest at kroger and walmart............lol

Just let Rand McNally list you as one of the top 25 places in the country to retire (why... I don't know) and that exact scenario will come true. I live it right now. My house was about 30 to 40 grand more than a comparable house a short drive away..... and my auto insurance went up when I moved here. I called to ask why and was told because of all the retirees and college kids on the road. :( :(

Just had some retirees from Minnesota buy a house 2 doors down from me for $300k, it might bring a little more than half that 20 miles away. They had it on the market for 3 years at that price until someone from up north that doesn't know any better jumped on it.

I just checked and I misspoke.... Rand McNally placed Murray/KY Lake area at the top of the list, not just in the top 25.... no wonder I suffer from road rage every morning trying to get to work....:D
