My honey hole dryed up just before this warm spell hit. We were doing well after the big rains came in Dec. This last rain didn't move any fish upstream into my spot. I have tried minnows, waxworms (on ice fishing jigs), worms with no luck this past week. I was catching some good crappie on minnows an twister jigs, bluegill on wax worms with ultra light line an ice jigs. The trick was to downsize the float so no resistance was felt with the ice fishing jigs an wax worms. I was thinking about working downstream to some deeper holes in the creek this next few days to see if they were holding in pockets around logjams an such.

I caught a few crappie yesterday on nightcrawlers, in a farm pond.
