Cash option is $121,000,000. How the hell would you spend it?? I'd invest a TON right off the bat. Give a little to my family and close friends. Build a nice large house on a chunk of land with a huuuuge garage with all of the bells and whistles like heat, ac, and floor lifts. 2 or 3 boats. Then I'd start on my car collection. A new S7 would be first followed by a bunch of cars I've always wanted: 512BBi, F-50, 288 GTO, Countach, Jalpa, XJR-15, 959, DP 935, Koenig Evoloution, Skyline with a ton of parts overnighted from Japan :D (i think hector can hook that up for me) Soooo many toys it's hard to know where to start!

I'd pay all of my interest up to date, and if there was any left over I'd make a payment on the principal. Oh, and maybe save enough out of it to put a new set of tires on the truck.

Buy about 1,000 acres in Buffalo County. Build a huge place with plenty of buildings for mounts, and archery course and whatnot. Hire all my friends to help run an outfitting business. Make sure my family is set for life, and my closest friends get a big chunk too. Help out all the people who have ever helped me out. Volunteer to help a lot more. Probably never work again, but I'd volunteer to do work for nothing. Just make people's lives a little easier any way I can, while hunting and fishing and playing with the dogs the rest of the time.

And of course invest a lot and buy all that other stuff I want.

Well, momma would never have to work again! I'd buy some land in various areas. I would also be going on hunting trips several times a year. I've always wanted to go hunting in Argentina, Mexico, and New Zealand, and I'd like to return to Alberta and Manitoba. I'd give 10% of it to my church right off the bat. I would also be able to go on several mission trips to Haiti each year. Lots of possibilities, but for the kids' sake, I would try to keep everything as close to the same as possible. Same school, same house, same church, etc.
I'd give it all to the Humane Society!:D
Seriously, It would be nice to win but I bet there would be plenty of days where you'd wish you didn't because people would be hounding you left and right. You'd probly loose several friends.
A buddy of mine knows the guy from Ashland that hit it a few years ago. According to him, this guy was just an old redneck( to put it kindly) and didn't change much. My buddy said he and another friend got to take out one of his cars, a brand new Ferrari 360 Modena- minus a roof.:D He said the car was unreal, but the ash tray was full of cigarettes, the carpet had spilled beer and ashed ground into it, and there was no shortage of beer cans on the floor and under the seats.:D The guy just didn't care. The best part was, his other buddy hit a curb with it later that night and did who knows how much damage to it. He said he was scared to death to call the owner, but when he did, the guy just laughed and said, " I don't give a ****!" I thought that was pretty funny. Gotta love a man who isn't changed by money.:D

Back in 2000 I missed $50,000,000.00 by one number. I matched all five numbers, the power ball was 26 and I had 25. I won $100,000.00, well $68,000.00 after taxes.......................

I'd give the first 10% to my church and some to a bible camp we help support. A few thousand to the volunteer fire department that covers the area where I live. Pay off all my debts, then have fun far a while staying home playing with the dogs, the daughter and the wife:D buy an RV and travel for a while. buy a substantial size farm with good fishing ponds, turkey and deer. Then set about starting my own business of some sort. Also invest a good portion for the future and to have the interest to live off of while my business gets gowing.

first things first, I'd pay off everthing the bank owns and is currently letting me use. Next I'd give it all away and buy a huge farm probably in IL, IO, or KS(4,000+ acres). I'd build a nice big colonial style house with atleast 1 giant room, 20' ceilings for the trophy room. Then I'd book a 6 month cruise and a long african safari along with an elk, caribou, bear(both black and grizzly), pronghorn, moose, muley, and one of those stupid expensive whitetail hunts where you expect to kill a B&C. I'd choose a different buddy to go on all the hunts. While the wife is enjoying her cruise I'll be trying to fill that trophy room. I'd then buy several old cars that I've always wanted including a couple yenko's, and some rare hemi dodges. Might even throw in a 67 gt 500. After that I'd probably waste the rest!

Go ahead and get me one. I'd donate it to the local tech school so they could spend an entire semester trying to get it running.. If they can get a new GM to stay running for 5 minutes, then they will be prepared to work on ANYTHING in the real world. If they don't want it, which I doubt the would, I'd just put it out in the front yard and let all the neighborhood kids watch as I turn it into a speed bump for my Dodge, thus making it a useful truck...... for the scrap yards.:D

Art it never ceases to amaze me how you town boys who drive 4 wheel drive mini trucks around new circle road and think you're out in the country. Take your truck down to the daniel boone national forest in mccreary county and get off road for a few miles and then we'll talk seriously.

Mini truck!! Whats that make that GM, a matchbox car?:D You must be stuck down there in McCreary Co. somewhere, and you are just trying to lure the big Dodge down there to pull you out!! I'd come down there and help you out of that jam, but according to Philpot, you like to sit on the tailgate of that broken down GM out in the woods and play your banjo for all the guys.. I've seen Deliverance, I'm not falling for that. :D

i would take half and give half to the wife and then tell her lets go are seperate ways. then i would have some fun.
I would put it all in the bank & pretend I didn't know it was there for at least 5 years & I wouldn't tell anybody, especially my family & friends. I've got a pretty good life now & I wouldn't want money to mess it up!

I would donate some to charity (one that i KNOW will use the money the right way), buy the 650 acres that i have hunted on since i was 8, pay off all the bills, build a cabin next to the lake, buy a 67' shelby gt 500, invest alot into game management, Buy some property in colorado where my aunt could look after it while im not there. I would set aside alot for gas money. By my dad (and me) a new DODGE truck. I would by trips for turkeyhunter5 and i to go on after our world slams. I would save some for things that need to be done or just small things. If i had any left, i would build a racetrack in my front yard. :D

If you find a post here that doesn't interest you, 3 words of advice..... don't open it.
The guys can talk about anything they want in this forum so long as they are not offensive or obscene.
Other than that, all I can say is the door swings both ways my friend. ;)
6.5x55swedish: Quackstackr has some good advice. This has been a pretty good thread that let's people talk about their dreams. A good rule of thumb on this forum in general is to (1) make sure you look at what section you are in before you post a comment, (2) consider not criticizing someone else's post when you don't have a legitimate point to make.
Good luck.

You should listen to WBBP..he is a very smart man...and has lots of nice hunting ground :D :D
If I had won Powerball, honestly family would come first...I don't have the wealthiest family, in fact my mother makes the most out of the 6 children my grandmother has...and now 2 of my grandma's children live with her and their 2 kids, so we end up having to pay for most of their stuff since they are lazy bums (except for my grandmother)...so I would take care of her and my mom and dad. Then of course, pay off all my debts, and then pay off the new building my church just built. Donate to charity, buy me some land, build a lake on it, and hunt/fish for the rest of my life. And of course, invite all of you out to my place anytime you like ;)
