I think I only lost a striker this year. I consider that a pretty good year. I will usually have to replace an entire call.:D

Missed a big tom at 15 yards, so a little pride I guess in having not ever missed one before then. Didn't lose any gear though that I know of.

My mind! Worst season I've ever had and I've been hunting since the early eighties!

I lost my binoculars! I've had them for a couple years, I guess it's a good excuse to get "better ones". Think the wife will buy it?
I hated losing them, they we're pretty good ones.

I'm amazed,......

I lost nothing this year. Last year was 2 face-masks, a striker, and a mini-slate call. The first and last year for a zero gear loss, I'll guarantee it.

sleep, sanity, and almost lost my house because my wife was getting mad at me for not doing some work around the house and treatened to kick me out. But she didn't even though I kept right on hunting.

Next year I may need a place to stay

I lost several pellets of no. 4 shot. I did find some of it though, in the head and neck of two fine turkeys.

Found out today when I was putting all my stuff up until the fall, I can't find my best box call, it was made for me by a friend you can't put a price on it. I called the land owner tonight to see if he might look for it tomorrow I got a ideal where it might be, I hope.

One carbon striker. I think I may have lost it when I jump a 6' deep gulley. Probably never find it. I was turned around ( lost) at the time.

I didn't lose anything but broke my favorite lexan striker. I guess it got pinched between me and the ground somehow. Snapped that sucker off clean at the handle.

I actually FOUND a striker I lost 2-3 years ago, it had been stepped on and was broke.

Really lucked out, didn't lose anything and FOUND my walkers game ear that I had lost last fall while deer hunting. Whoopee and it still works too.

First off, Thank you for helping to relieve the pain. I thought I was the only one that lost stuff every year.

Spent much of this season crawling around filed edges and actually dropped teh vest inn a few spots. As a result, I managed to loose 2 slate calls. One custom glass call and another mass-produced slate.

I have not unpacked the vest yet, so the total may increase.

Being the last day of the turkey season, this morning , got on the scale and see that I had walked off "10 lbs. of ugly fat." Walking past the mirror, I realized I had lost none of the "ugly".
