After taking my first bird opening day and missing 2 mature toms; yes 2 misses; I switched to Remington Heavy shot and knocked the crap out of my 2nd longbeard of the season this past Sunday morning. Now I'll have to wait for the fall season.

Sounds like quite a few encounters there. I got 1 bird and 1 shot, BUT my turkey hunting skills arent as good as deer or ducks so that might be part of the reason. Congrats on taggin out!

good job! The wally word here has hevishot at $17 a box. The guy says they have so much it willprobably get to $10. If it does I'll be shooting it next year!
