Got my second bird today!

I didnt think I was going but I went anyway and boy did it pay off.

Great bird, Turk I love glass. I use glass and carbon striker. Good sound I have just had trouble purring. seems carbon is to slick and won't stutter across.

I used the slate call, the sweet talker pro, but since the lostriver guys forgot to put their name on the slate call:D I used the glass call for the pic. I did use the glass call a few times when I couldnt get the toms in closer it seemed to work out good. Didnt get it on tape, skindog cancelled on me:(

Dave, I ended up being awake til 6am! I suffered a major migraine all day. I'm glad I cancelled when I did, instead of having to cancel in the morning. I hate I missed it. How did he perform for ya? Get any struttin action? Thats the one thing my season shorted me on was struttin. I saw a little with the first bird I got, but thats it. Congrats on a great bird!

Yeah he came in struttin, all I noticed was his fan tail. I heard others gobble but this one never did. He strutted around for about 10 min which seemed like 2 hours before i could get a shot on him, there was a hen in between me and the tom.
