I put my buddy where i had been huntin some but had yet to hear one there. Guess what? One breaks loose about an hour after flydown nearby and as some hens filed past, here come Mr. Unlucky;) Me, i saw or heard nuttin but a hen that sounded to me to be tending. She was just 50yds or so from me and about every 15 minutes and from the same place, that low, nasal yelp. I reckon she was talkin to her egg's?
