Im tagged out!!

Well on 4-16, i killed my first bird ever, a 18lb gobbler with 2 beards (9 3/4" and 6 1/4") he had 1" spurs. This afternoon at 7 i killed my second bird. He weighed 21lbs, had a very very thick 10" beard, and 1 1/8" spurs. I'll get pics of both birds tomorrow when i fill up the cam. Ill post the story with the pics. I'll never forget this spring!!

I filled up the camera today. I dropped it one time:(. I realized i had when i drove right up beside a hen bedded down, but not nesting. I reached for the camera but it wasnt there. I was within 20 feet of her (on a 4 wheeler) and she didnt jump up and run or fly, so i figured she had a nest near by, or was getting ready to lay one. We backed off of the area to let her do her duty. Now ive just got to make it to fall turkey....

BTW: I re-measured the spurs today and found my dad must have made a mistake. They were 1 1/4".;)
