I am wore out after 15 days of hunting but it paid off.Ive called in so many hens and jakes it aint even funny and missed one longbeard a week ago but finally was able to sneack around this bird and shoot him at forty yards had to watch him for an hour and a half struting in the field cars were stopping to look at him I thought he would spook.He had four hens with him And I had already patterned this bird they finally lead him into my trap only call I made was to get him to stick his head up.

stats are 24 pounds 1 1/8 spurs 10 1/2 inch beard

very nice bird i notice the wing tips appear to be a odd color wonder if that was caused by him strutting in a muddy area? he's deff a 3 yr old or maybe older...again congrats..

His wing tips was muddy from strutting in a plowed field.I looked at that pic and decided to clean it out its been my trash can for the past two weeks.
