Scratched a few out the last two days..

Hunted Sat. and Sun. in Jackson TN. Killed 8 woodies on Saturday and as every hunt goes should have killed a few more other ducks, but was happy with 8. To close the season on Sunday we killed 1 greenhead and left in early morning to make it home for super bowl. Time for Turkeys!

Took a banded duck on Staurday on a creek in Versailles, made it all worthwhile. Scratched out a few black ducks on a spring in Midway to close out the season. Not a bad way to end things up. Bring on Spring.

I hate to say it, but the last two days of the season were wonderful. There were moments when I thought I was in Arkansas, with a hundred birds or so working over head. I got my first Bufflehead and my buddy shot his first Golden Eye. God bless the weather that freezes over the small ponds and drives those creatures to concentrate around the big water.

limited on geese and MISSED a in your face shot at 4 Golden Eye's...
buddy took a dip in 0 degree weather or we would have stayed longer...
