Has anyone hunted for grouse on the Redbird WMA in Clay County? If so, how is it and give me step by step directions to the best spots. Just kidding of course. I had some great land owned by relatives to hunt on in Knox County, but it got burnt out pretty bad and the birds have not returned. Last year I was flushing five or six birds a trip in less than two hours usually. I know I didn't kill them all because I am such a bad shot. I know that the burning will help in the long run but it screwed this year up pretty bad. So I am looking for new places.
