Elk Poachers

What happened to the guy in Jackson/Breathitt that killed the elk and thought it was a deer? Also, are the courts going to back up the dept on elk poachers? The one killed recently in Estill Co. for instance. Will the court in that county be hard enough to maybe prevent/deter future poachers or will the good ol' boy system reign?

I talked with the CO ,who made the arrest, yesterday and he said that the first hearing on this guy who killed the spike elk for a whitetail , is coming up this week. They also made a charge against the guys girlfriend. DC or JON might keep us filled in on this case as it progresses. The guy is listed as disabled but he loads a dead 450 lb elk??? Yea sure?

Maybe the Dept. and the Legislators will rethink their giving away the farm with the $5 "disability" CRAP!!!!
