With season over and me thumping Muzzy's into a Delta 3-D
target, I had a silly question [:p]

What's the best way to re-sharpen broadheads?
Usually I don't have this problem as I break or lose them
all during the season. I reckon' I got lucky this year![:D]

I hold the broad head blade with the handle of an Exacto knife & sharpen them on a crock stick. Then handle has a slot in it, when you loosen it the slot opens enough to fit the b/h blade in, when you tighten the handle it holds it in place. Just a few strokes on each side will have them cutting hair.

Timely topic (for me), since I'll be switching to some sort of one-piece, cut-on-contact style head to use with my recurve. Keep 'em coming!

P Meyer...i also shoot muzzy's (4 bld 90 gr) without a doubt the Diamond BH sharpener is the way to go...
on a post back in season i mentioned that i have taken up to 5 deer with the same BH and blades simply be resharpening them..also this year at camp one fella pulls out a brand new pack of muzzy's after putting them together i asked to feel them WHAT shocked me is that usually muzzy's are razor out of the pack...well these were far from being razor
he asked me if i would sharpen them which i did everyone felt them and was amazed at the edge they now held....
next hunt my buddy shot a doe on video and she fell only a few feet from point of impact...TRUST me take a look at this tool..
whats also nice about it is it adjusts to work for any blade from the bear heads to the mechanicals i have used it on all the above....
hope this helps

personally i dont resharpen my blades.i dont know it to be a fact but i feel that if you sharpen one blade more than another youll throw off the balance of the head in flight. i just use the dull ones for practice and put in new ones for the hunt.if i feel the need for practice i swith them out again
