The interesting thing is that we have had more elk poached in TN than in KY. TN has about 200 elk. KY has about 4500. I grew up in TN, so I am really disappointed in the folks from my home state. With the elk restoration, everything in KY has been better. You got good people and a good wildlife agency here.

man that is just stupid. there is no reason for some to be a poacher:mad:. i hope all poachers rot in the deep dark pits of he!!

It's probably some ignorant kid walking around the woods and shooting anything. At least that's what it sounds like to me. Most poachers hunt for the hides and meat. This guy just left them for the birds and varmints. What they need to do is catch this guy red handed, and fine him into bankruptcy.
