More Poaching

I get to work today and some guy is bragging about the turkey he shot on Tues morning. I live in Tn and am real close to ky and thought well I guess he went to Tn and killed him, but no he is talking about a farm in a Ky co., and then had the nerve to say that had it been a real big bird that he would put him in the freezer and checked him in next week because he is entered in some contest.
I do not really know this guy, and was just wondering how to best handle the situation without getting into an altercation. I just hate to hear stuff like this because i know how hard they are to kill sometimes and you have this guy busting one 3 days early. the worst part is that he is proud of this bird.:mad:

Not sure which state he lives in, but I would contact the CO whereever he lives and turn him in. Even if he lives in TN, I'm sure he didn't check the bird in there.

the guy does live in Ky, because i saw his orange license on the break room table and he was filling out the back. I guess he is a master of time travel.:mad:

If you know where he hunts, call that CO and tell him what happened and where he is going to be tomorrow morning. The CO can check him as he's entering the property (i.e. before day), ask him for his license, and then question him about his reasons for filling in his tag before the season has started. At a minimum, he could get a court order to check the guy's freezer and have him cited.

Find out what co. he live's in and call the CO and find out were the turkey contest is if its at uncle lees let me know.I can do something about it.:mad: PM me with his name and i will check it out.....

Just conatact your CO and teell them. If he's done it once he'll do it again. He probably shot it over a corn pile too!

I know the guys name, but want to be very careful. it is someone that may have connections in the area, or at least his father does.

I just wish it was legal to stop the sh?t out of people like him . we got a 17 year old punk that poaches on our property all year makes me so mad I could bite nails into . caught him tresspassing and the warden said he wanted to wait until he is 18 which is in june to press the charges then he said we needed to go ahead and press them then hes not sure if we can even still get the county attorny to press them now this punk has tresspassed on everyone around here and nobody can stand him it makes me ill and messes my hunting up . everbody keeps saying he will get his one day well i hope its soon . he also has drives by us honking his horn . cussing us and flipping the bird . he does this crap after he 18 and it might be a diffrent story for him all together .
