A couple years back they had the big game cook off and last year I missed it.

Are they going to have it again?

IF so where and when?

Actually there is two this year. One will be held at the State Fairgrounds in Louisville on July 9th that benefits Hunters for the Hungry. With your admission, you get a free ticket to the Louisville Fire arena football game.

And on July 16th at Hunters World (same place as last year) to benefit the archery in the school program.

Our club, Fern Creek Sportsman, will be attending and cooking for both events. And my church's outdoor group, Southeast Christian Church's Men Ministry Outdoor's will be volunteering at both. Help is still needed at both events and participants. Its a great time and we had a ball at it last year.

For more information on July 9th's event contat Kent Cooper, he's on this board quite frequently.

On the July16th event contact Gary Roman or Scot King at Firearm Service Center or Field and Stream Archery.

Hum

Thats odd that they have both events in the same city so close to each other in time. I'm sitting here wondering which one to attend.

WAS HFH was having too big a turn out and thus moved it to larger facility?((though going to hunters world is easier then going to fair grounds)).

And sounds like Hunters world liked the event so much they didn't want to give it up ""man if they had it closer to the fall or spring seems like they might have a better turn out"".

Do we know what the participation is suppose to be for both events?

Go to the first one, it's the one that we cooked at last year. The other is a new event?

The KHFH Cookoff will be held July 9th at the Ky Fair and Expo center in Louisville. It was moved for numerous reasons, but the biggest was to acommedate a larger crowd.
I will be supporting both events.

There will be more info as it gets closer to the event.

Thanks for the interest.
