Well after a short wait the crossbow arrived today.
This PSE/Tenpoint is pretty cool.
It says tenpoint every where so I'm feeling like I did pretty good. New in the box, never been fired. ((Lets here it for ebay)).
It all looks well constructed and SOLID. And of course comes with a good reputation.
We will see how it shoots tomorrow.

It Shoots Straight And Fast. Hits Hard.
Multi Is Sending A Scope My Way.
Got The Accudraw 50 Coming. BY THE WAY TEN POINT HAS THIS COOL ROPE COCKER ACCUDRAW 50 THAT FITS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE STOCK RECESS. NEED TO DRAW THE BOW YOU JUST GRAP THE TWO HANDLES AND PULL UP (THEIR PLACEMENT KEEPS EVERYTHING IN LINE). ZIP UP IT GOES RIGHT INTO PLACE FAST. AND BOOM THE HANDLES RETRACT BACK IN AND THEN TWO MAGNETS HOLD THEM OUT OF WAY. AWESOME AND NOT NEAR AS MUCH MONEY OR CUMBERSOM AS AUTO DRAWS. ITS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. CHECK IT OUT.
It's Gonna Be Sweet
REALLY HAPPY WITH THE 10 POINT

Aim small, miss small..
You get to aim at a hair on the deer instead a 1/4 of the front shoulder..
Besides my eyes are old... ;)

I'm legally blind in the left and aint doing good in the right.
The lack of depth perpception created by my monoicle view I believe makes it difficult to imposssible to look at iron sights (or a pin) and see the animal that I want to kill at the same time.
This is eliminated when using a scope (even a red dot) where the picture is whole and does not require me to see two distances.
Maybe this is not a factor of my 1 blind eye and more a factor of my failing vision. Either way having a scope is the only way for me to effectively kill anything the proper way.
I looked into setting something up on an inline and this is not as readily done as it is with a crossbow. Yes it's possible but typically very costly and not real popular at this point and I figure thats for a reason.
Hunting is not catch and realease. When we let the projectile fly from what ever weapon we choose we need to make sure it's going in the right place and hitting exactly what and where we choose. If you can do it with an inline and peeps more power to you. But since I can't how about letting me use a crossbow.

i understand what you are saying ,i have never had good enough eyesight to shoot iron sights very well, i guess thats why i shoot bow instinctive, i focus only on what i want to hit. i have never been against a disabled or handicapped person using a crossbow, or whatever it takes.
