Yatesville lake How is hunting there?

I was wanting to see if anyone has hunted yatesville lake or if they are alot of turkeys in the area?I can drive there in about 2 hours and was wanting to know if it would be worth it?THANKS FOR ANY HELP;)

I'd say it's well worth the drive. I grouse hunted down there two years ago and the place was overrun with turkeys. Lots of big ridges, and hollers though.

PLENTY of big toms to chase at Yatesville! Plenty of hunting area too. Good luck. I was fishing saturday near Rich Creek and from 10:30 - 11:30 one bad boy was hammerin' hard.
