I know this may sound like a stupid question but I have to ask. I'm looking at getting a new barrel for my nova pump. If I order it online, does it have to go though a ffl holder?? I'm curious...I would think not considering the "barrel" doesnt fire lol. Want to go from a 28 to a 24 inch barrel.

I have a nova 12ga. pump with a 24" barrel. I love it! I was thinking about buying one with a 28" barrel, but i came across a used nova that had only been shot twice and was in perfect conditon.... for only $150! I couldnt resist that deal. How did you like the 28" barrel??

It's ok but to long for me. I would like to turkey hunt with it if possible. I use the new winchester 1300 short turkey edition with 18 inch barrel. but I would like to bring this down to 24. I'd say the 28 inch barrel would be a good water fowl or any other type of bird besides turkey IMO.

Do you not like the 1300 short turkey? I absolutely love mine. Got rid of a 870 super mag. Nothing cycles as smoothly as the winchester. Also going back to the 3" chamber cut down on some of my feeding problems. I had the bad habit of short stroking the action.

The 1300 short turkey is awsome and will be my primary turkey weapon. I just wanted to throw a new barrel on the benelli to "bring her back to life" :D

Shotgun extra barrels do not need to be sold through a FFL dealer. No paper work on them or background check.
