How many of yall buy one?

Any pro's or cons? What about additional room on the harvest log?

I usually just buy my combo and "tags" with the seasons, Well I got the sportsman liscense this year.

Bought one the last two years. Pretty handy only having one piece of paper to keep up with and not having to worry about tags for the rest of the year.

The last two years I've killed 1 buck and 2 toms, but wondered what I would do if I killed more does and more toms in the fall season once you ran out of room??? The federal duck stamp, when I post it on the back of the Sportsmans License only gives me three spots... Let me know if you find out!

I agree. Just one piece of paper to keep up with.

I bought my 3rd one about a month ago. In my opinion it saves you alot of money. Bonus anterless tags give you extra space to log harvested animals on and you can also just get a piece of an unprinted tag from any license vender and use the back of it if additional space is needed. I also just remove a small portion of the paper on top of my duck stamp to stick it to the back. That way I have the stamp attached but can still flip it up and have enough room to log at least one more animal.

The third year for me. I like having everything on one piece of paper....even the trout "stamp". I go down to Cumberland for trout several times in the summer, so this is an extra benefit to me.

I bought my first one this year, I think it will be worth the $80.00 I fish and hunt all year and having 1 piece of paper is great.

If you run out of room you can print out a harvest log from the FW site

its a good buy in my opinion. alot of it i may not use, but when i'm bowhunting anything legal is apt to get a shaft flung in that direction.

I buy one simply because it's only one piece of paper to fool with;)

Thanks, I guess I made the right choice. This is the first year I've bought it. Glad to hear you can print additional harvest logs, or just get blank ones at any place that sells liscense/tags.

Look ever since Walmart sold me a turkey licesne for spring and It was fall I started buying my license online.

Just go to KDFWR online (anytime day or night) and they then send you an email with your licesense info on it.

So if you loose it no sweat, just print it again. You drive 4 hours to hunting ground and leave it on night stand no sweat find a computer go to your email site and print it off.

Print all the hunt logs you want.

And the sportmans license has been a must.

Only down side to online is you then must have ID with you!

4th year for me(4th year huntin in KY). I like it cause I don't forget anything. I get it right before heading to Ft. Campbell to buy my license there. Then all I hjave to worry with is fed duck and bonus doe tags. Use the bonus doe tag for additional log space.

3rd year for me. I like simple. I was thinking this year as my oldest turned 16. Talked some grandparents into giving a sportsman license for his March birthday. Saved me some $ and he was impressed!

I have bought mine the last 3 years. I love only having one piece of paper to keep up with instead of an entire pocket full of tags and licenses. In regards to the duck stamp that ceo metioned, you do not have to palce that on your tag. You simply have to sign it and have it in your possession when hunting. I asked the local CO the same question and that is the answer that was given to me.

I buy the Sportsman's licenses too, I like to buy one and forget it.

Feedman that "harvest log" is a Western KY thing!:D

Where I hunt, you can stick the Fed duck stamp, 3 green stamps, and enough US postage on the back to mail it around the world and still have enough "log" space left.

I bought the sportsman 2003, and 2004. it's cheaper than buying even less privilges than the licenses allows. If you spring turkey, deer hunt ,fish, and archery you've already saved money.
here in Nc, I moved here from ky last november, The sportsman is $40. i was very impressed with that. turkey is decent here, Deer very abundant, and we have great trout, and you can bear hunt, and wild boar.

we also have a seperate "tags" from the license. We can shoot 6 deer, 4 of which can be bucks. Trophy deer are far from abundant, but the population is over 1 million here in Nc.

I've been buying one since I moved back to Ky. While I lived in Tn I bought their Sportsmans license every year I was there.
