You and I have developed a friendship because of this site and I know that we will still be friends even if you move away. I look forward to hunting/fishing when you come back to visit your family here.
If you need anything don't hesitate to give me a call.
I hope that you and the family have a safe trip on the move out there.

Congrats on the new job; and best wishes to you! I'd say you'll like it "down there" very much! (my daughter's boyfriend is originally from LA, and she really likes it) :)
Let us know how things are for you; and again best wishes!
I went to Shreveport for a couple of days about 5 years ago. They had the best food I hae ever put in my mouth, except maybe good old country home cooking. Those cajun vittles are really somthing else. Craw Dad "et tu fe" just about melts in your mouth! Good luck!
Good luck to ya b1jeremy.

I guess that application with the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. finally came through for ya huh?:D Good luck and enjoy the hunting. I know a guy from down that way that shoots 20-30 deer a year. Don't hold out for the big boys down there though, there few and far between!

I've turkey hunted a WMA near shreveport. Think the spelling was Bodcau or something like that. Place was covered up in wild hogs and it was on this hunting trip I became an addict to turkey hunting! I talked with my first tom ever. And like all turkey hunters I talked way too much! He gobbled at me and my buddy for 2 hours as he made an arc around us about 150 yards out and eventually faded off to never be heard from again. I always said I'd go back and seek my revenge on one of his offspring, but haven't made the trip yet. I think it was in 97. BTW, it took me 4 or 5 years before I ever killed aturkey!!!!!!!!11

Man your moving to Louisiana as fast as I moved away from it.
I had a two year tour in Baton Rouge.
Mud Buggs are going to be just right right about now. Eat them and suck the heads don't be a baby about it.
I have some advice for you.
Fish Brother Fish; every little stinking hole of water you can find they have so many fish down there it will blow you away. Fresh water, salt water, brackish water. Water with gators and snakes. Oh yeah.
Go fish for red fish and trout down on the gulf. ((DRIVE SLOW IF YOU GO ANYWHERE NEAR A TOWN OF CALLED GOLDEN MEADOW)).
It is a sportmans paradise and that is what it has going for it (but you better take some deet).

Good luck down thereand hope everything goes well. I am from west monroe which is about 80 miles east of shreveport. I am in a good lease near ruston, and head down to hunt evey year. Lake d'arbone has some of the biggest crappie you will ever see, and caddo is pretty good also. enjoy yourself, and i recomend the duck hunting.

Dude, you have hunted everywhere! I haven't even been anywhere:D. How have you found the time to go all these places? Were you raised by gypsies or something?:D
