Raven Run

Got this Pick at Raven Run a few weeks ago. This Doe seemed to be as interested in me as I was her. I wish I had a better camera she let me get pretty close. Some of the Does I have seen out there look like horses! I have Yet to see a Buck there but the does are almost always there.

Good pic. I've always wanted to go up there since I live so close. I heard they close early is this true?

They do close kinda early. I think they were closing at 4:30pm a couple of weeks ago. Now that the time has changed and we have more daylight I think they start staying open a little later. I'll find out for ya next time I go.

Its a great place to visit, tons of wildlife and some really great views. I see Does all the time and have seen a few Turkey. One tip of advice, if you go be prepared to get a little muddy! It has to be dry for several days to avoid the mudd but even then you will run into some!

I went on Thursday and they are still closing at 4:30pm. I intended to ask someone at the Nature Center if they were going to start staying open later but no one was there. They were probably out repairing trails. I'll try again next time and I'll keep ya posted.
