I am looking for a pop up blind. I saw a Hunter's View one today for $69. I am trying to stay under $100. Double Bull Blinds are too high. Anyone have any recommendations? I would like something for Deer and Turkey.

thanks,
:)

I've got a Hunters View I really like it! I found it on sale after deer season got it cheap.

I would go with the DogHouse if you are looking to bow-hunt from it as well. The teepee shaped ones (I believe the Outhouse for Ameristep brand) aren't quite wide enough to comfortably draw your bow, so I moved up to the DogHouse. I got a couple for $50, and they usually go for $60-$80 around here.

They aren't as tall, but more spacious inside, which makes things more comfortable in the long run.

Go with the Hunter'sview. Can order them on-line thru Uncle Lee's (board sponser). I like it better than the Ameristep.

Yeah I got the Outhouse, it is pretty confining. I'm kinda concerned bout being in they thing though. What's the feeling on hanging some blaze orange tape on the things as a safety factor?????

I thought they came with a blaze orange flag.

Looks like Wingsupply.com (a part of Uncle Lee's) has the Doghouse for $55, not sure what shipping would be.

We have an Ameristep of some kind. I think it cost around $60. We haven't killed a turkey out of it yet, but we've come close several times. I did kill a gray fox out of it last December though. It is well worth the money.

If you need a blind cheap, go to the Sam's club in Clarksville, IN. They have a few of the Ameristep Roundhouse TSC Model # 888 Mossy Oak, New Break-Up, blinds left for $79. Thsi is a big pop-up blind that easliy seats four adults and has scent control. I picked one up last week. They normally retail for $189 at Sam's. The blinds are no longer on display. They are located in the back corner of the bakery section - the "last chance area". They had five left on Friday.

Here is the website for picture.

Whatever blind you get, that shadowguard is real nice to have. It eliminates your shadow, so the game can't pick up on that either.
