Requests for regulations to permit severely disabled sportmen to use crossbows during the archery-only hunting seasons are nothing more than a shameful attempt by crossbow manufacturers and supporters to gain a foothold.
--------------------------------------------------------------
So according to "them"; being disabled isn't "real enough"?
I'd say they just "shot themselves in the foot"(or another worse place) :D
That 1/2 paragraph, "spells it out"; IF you don't do it like "WE DO" then you're not good enough!!! Total BS!
I won't shed any tears if the one writing this becomes disabled himself, THEN let's see what his feeling are!!

And lets see
Hoyt etc don't benefit greatly from archery season.
In fact I suggest maybe all this opposition is from your strictly inline bow companies.
Look at one of their complaints more people can pick up a crossbow and hit the target ((as oppose to missing and wounding more game)).
And thats a bad thing. It's only bad because it means more competition in the field.

You know I titled it all about eliticism but really that is just their battle cry.
The true fight is to keep hunters out of the woods while they are there.
When their orther arguments fail they always fall back to that. Well the deer herd cant handle it.
But they can handle the entire state descending upon them for 2-3 weeks with rifles with 100-300 yard range.
Limit the harvest of deer not the scope of legitamite weapons to choose from.

I guess your referring to the Commissioners???? Nice talk. You should show a little respect for those who serve in that position, even though you disagree with them on this issue.
Shogan for the Commissioner has nothing to do wiht what your talking about. Learn the process.

Multi; on the "bright side" after some comments that he's made, once they find out his real name, I'm quite certain, that his "ideas" will be given all the consideration that they deserve!!!
