Yes you can camp on any of the maintained roads on Peabody. The KY Fish and wildlife site should have some more info.

Notice he said on any MAINTAINED(gravel) roads. This year im turning in campers that throw up a site off-road, back those old roadbeds!

I don't want to start a debate about what is or is not a proper camping area but in the short time that I have been hunting at Peabody (seven years) I have seen spots that were once prime hunting areas ruined by people camping in them. It seems that some try to monopolize or hog certain places by camping in them. I wish they'd take a backhoe and cut ditches across most of the secondary roads, and enforce the no atv rules.

Exactly what he said. The CO we talked to said he keeps taking the ATV's away and the judges keep giving them back.

I was told by a CO or dept employe over the phone a month back to call a CO if u see a campsite off regularly used gravel roads! Old roadbeds and 4-wheeler trails don't count.
