I'm no detective, or a turkey for that matter, but I think he probably heard the camera take the first picture and turned to look at it and then TOOK OFF, I hope your best spot wasn't compromised. Those are absolutely FANTASTIC pictures:)

Doesn't look like he's running off though, so I don't think anything was harmed. Still standing there strutting from what I can see on the last pic. Any more to go along with that sequence kyhunter?

in my opinion, he was just turning to follow the hen that disappeared after the first pic. NICE :)

What type camera did you use and which board? Do you have a slave flash?

This setup is a Sony P41, using a Hags Board(BG1) and Im not using a slave flash. You cant beat the p41s in my opinion. But they have discontinued them and they are getting a little hard to find, so If I was you I wouldn't wait to long in trying to find one. If you find a good deal on them let me know I would like a couple more of them myself. I know some guys have found them at wal-mart and were getting some good deals on them. Good Luck.

Ky hunter is right, the P41 is a good camera. I had one setup last fall with a Pix controller, it did great job and battery power was good with this camera/controller setup.
