Anyone know how fast the barnett RC 300 is (not the quad).

I can't find specs anywhere and that makes me think it's a dinosaur

shogan, the RC- 300 must be a discontinued model. They don't list it any more in the catalogs. They have a Quad 300 and a Rc-150.

I'd guess it's around 300 fps???

Thanks Multi

Yeah the 300 makes me guess 300fps as well but It's not quad so it's a guess.

I'd really like to get a hold of a good used one xbow for 100 bucks or so but not looking very likely. They had the quad 300's for sale last fall for 225 when the quad 400's came out but I didnt jump.

I might jump up to 200 for something new but I can't hang with you big dogs on the really fine stuff you had listed on a prior post

Keep me in mind if someone wants to step up to the elite world but has a nice run of the mill bolt shooter.

On paper it was supposed to do 300 fps. That was with a 2216 I believe. You are better off going with Duster's set up with a 20" 2219. Kinetic energy and flight characteristics will do more for you then speed. Speed kills air fast. That's all.

shogan last time I looked on eBay there were several Barnett's and Horton's listed for around that $100 mark. Of course there are some a lot higher:)

yeah they start out there but before you know it folks are paying near new price for used stuff and retail price from a unknown seller.

Be careful at the $100-$200 mark. You get what you pay for, and sometimes less.

yeah I try to find new stuff because most of the ebay used stuff seems it's never quite as nice as they describe.
