Thought I'd post a schedule of events for our spring meet at JM Feltner 4H Camp in London, Ky on May 6-8, 2005. Everyone interested in trapping is invited.
Friday May 6
Arrival around noon, hamburgers, hot dogs and such available for lunch both days. Kids sign up for fishing trophies, basketball horse tournament, trap setting contest, and bird house/feeder building.

10:00 Demo Dave Maehr Status and removal or relocation methods of problem bear in Ky. Elk Status in Ky.
10:00 Horse tournament for kids
11:00 Demo Steve Pickard Bobcat Trapping
12:00 Lunch
1:00 Demo Justin Walker Coyote Trapping
1:00 Trap setting contest for kids
2:00 Demo Leon Smith ( ex Colorado govmt. trapper) Authentic bear and mountain lion trapping methods
3:00 Demo Matt Jones Coon Trapping
4:00 Auction Please bring along a trapping or outdoor related item to donate if you can
5:00 Old fashioned hog roast
6:00 Bluegrass/gospel music by Mountain Heir
Sunday May 8
Cleanup and say bye
There will be a small charge, 3.00 or so, for the buffalo burger meal and hog roast. Any questions call me at 606-528-2726 or Stacy White at 606-523-0972.
We are also raffling off a Remington 700 .204 Ruger to be given away Saturday afternoon. Chances are available at the meet.
Children must have a life jacket on and an adult with them when fishing. Trophies will be given out to them for fishing, basketball, and trap setting.
