Baiting

Been thinking about doing some coyote hunting in the next few months. Several places that I have hunted this fall have an expanding population so thinning them out pretty good would really help.

The thought just hit me that you might be able to bait them in with meat scraps, sort of chum 'em up.

Has anyone ever tried this?

we have baited coyotes just after lastyears gun deer season closed. we used gut piles and scraps from harvested deer we took. It worked excellant most kills were very early and very late. If you dont hunt the bait every day / when your not there they'll drag it off and feast.! so keep a close eye on your bait!
