This letter was recieved from an ACF member in Alabama, yesterday. I thought I would share it with all of you here.
Dear Daniel - Thank you for the newsletter. Here in Alabama, the Crossbow season has been excepted with a landslide of support. The dealers in most stores sold out and could not keep the extras that go along with crossbow hunting.
In the February and March meetings of the Conservation and Advisory Board, not one word of resistance came against crossbow hunting. Those against crossbow hunting have realized that the majority of the hunters are for this sport.
I have had many reports of women and children hunting their first time during bow season with a crossbow. Also, many of those who can no longer pull back a compound bow are now afforded the opportunity to hunt with a crossbow during bow season.
I would say, that crossbows have really made a impact in the state of Alabama for the good of hunting. George Ellison - Alabama
