The poll on the UBK site seems to have lost a bunch of vote's. Mainly from the yes side. I know someone said it don't mean squat but seems like a lot of manipulaton is going on to push the results one way or another. Yesterday over 600 votes today only 388 at this time. I just find that strange.

My guess is that the administrator is working overtime in cleaning out the "cookie eaters" on both sides. At least I hope the cleaning is from both sides.
Of course any Internet poll is very unscientific.
In this case it surprises me that 30+% of the folks on a bowhunting organization site would come out for crossbows.
The survey conducted by the F & W has a whole lot more meaning, as it was scientific and polled not just bowhunters, but ALL hunters in the state. The deer, in any season, do not just belong to the people after them at that particular time of the year. The deer belong to all the people in the state AND not just hunters either.
We are all stakeholders in this..

Did you notice any drop in the NO side in that time period?

NO change on that side. None what so ever. I had to laugh it reminds me of Chicago politics.

I did notice that the percentages went from 51% yes and 48 no with 1% undecided to 65% yes and 31 % no with 2% undecided now.

Really?
Does that mean that no one on the NO side knows how to delete their cookies OR a little manipulation going on.....??
I can not believe for a minute that the "cookie eaters" weren't at work on both sides of the subject..

Digger,
I think you have that backwards. It is the NO votes in the lead now.
65% 258 Votes For: No
31% 124 Votes For: Yes
2% 11 Votes For: Undecided
as of 7:41 CST ...

I stand corrected, used to poll having yeses on top. I guess you can do that when you run the poll. Thankfully here we use crossbows in archery season and still the deer populations are increasing significantly.

That is true everywhere that crossbows are legal...
NO ONE person has been able to point out any negatives anywhere about crossbows..
All they have is the emotional appeal - "We dont want them"..
