Attacked by what, sometimes when I'm gone too long my wife attacks me when I get back.

Yep. Ticks, gnats, skeeters, bees, nerves, cold. Had a bird try and land on me one time too.:D

been attacked by mosquitoes during bow season!!! :D :eek: some of em could have been considered BIG game! On another occasion had a squirrel try to jump in my tree stand with me. I thought both of us were gonna crap ourselves.

Oh yeah, Thanks AteUp I had forgot bout them alien ticks we got in LBL and then I remember the night I was sleeping in the tent and heard voices. Finally figgered out, it was two skeeters arguing over whether they was gonna eat me there or take me home to the kids.

Ha....that reminds me of the time plowboy left his camper door open and then later that nite when I was by myself I heard noise in the camper and thought I was gonna shoot it full of holes. I snuck over to it like a black ops soldier and slid open the door and two squirrels came roarin outta there like their @$$ was on fire carryin' a sleeve of crackers!! :eek: Had to change my shorts, but thankfully didn't shoot anything.

Been attacked by an owl, been up a tree before dawn with an angry coon:)

And on the more serious side, I was squirrel hunting when a red fox ran up and stopped a few yards from me. He pinned his ears back like a cat and started walking toward me with a sort of growl. I yell and he backed off, then came at me again, this time in a full charge. I fired one shot from my 12 ga. into the air . He didn't stop and I had just enough time to swing the barrel down . I pulled the trigger just as he lunged and took hold on the front of the barrel. End of story! I don't know if that thing was rabid or just mad:)

I had a wounded deer come after me once. I was helping bloodtrail for a friend and when we found the buck he had vengance on his mind. He was down for the count or so we thought and laying faceing away from us. About the time I went to poke him with my bow he came to life and jumped up and I jumped back, he then headed straight for me with his head lowered. I was close enough to a tree big enough to get behind and pay ring around the rosie with him till my friend got another arrow into him. Why he didn't go after the guy who first put a arrow thru him I will never know. He got close enough to me to splatter blood on my camo.

YEP! I once set too near a yellow jacket's nest while Squirrel Hunting! Got nailed four times before I could move from the area!! OUCH!!!

MY COUSIN SHOT A BIG 11 POINT BUCK THIS YEAR AND THE DEER TURNED AND CAME IN A CHARGE STRAIGHT AT HIM, HE WAS HUNTING FROM THE GROUND. HE SIDE STEPPED THE DEER AND IT MISSED HIM ABOUT 1 1/2 TO 2 FEET THEN TURNED TO COME BACK IN A CHARGE FROM ABOUT 20' AWAY WHEN CUZ KINDA SHOT FROM THE HIP AND DROPPED HIM IN HIS TRACKS. CUZ IS AN EXTREMLY GOOD AND ETHICAL HUNTER BUT SAID HE HAD NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT BEFORE. I WAS HUNTING DEER ONE DAY WALKING OUT A RIDGE TO GET TO MY STAND. I CAME OUT OF SOME THICK BRUSH INTO A SOMEWHAT OPEN AREA AND TO MY LEFT A SMALL GRAY FOX WAS WALKING BESIDE ME NOT 15' AWAY. I KEPT ON WALKING AND SO DID HE, I WAS WATCHING HIM CAUSE HE DIDN'T RUN AWAY AND HE WOULD LOOK AT ME. WE WALKED SIDE BY SIDE FOR ABOUT 50 YDS TO WHERE THE RIDGE MADE A Y, HE WENT ONE WAY AND I WENT THE OTHER, FOX NEVER ACTED SCARED. THOUGHT THAT WAS VERY ODD.:confused:
