fowlhunting on salt river

i live next to the salt river, or somewhat close would i be abel to fowlhunt down off the river with out getting in trouble. i'm a rookie on fowlhunting. just trying to learn.

Hey bower,

If you are hunting from the bank (or wading in the river), your have to have permission from the landowner. If you are floating in a boat, then that is not necessary. What part of Salt River are you on? The birds have been few and far between this season.

don't know what part i would hunt. i've never fowlhunt before. i'm wanting though really bad. just trying to learn on my own, since i don't know anyone who does fowlhunt. would there be a public area available in which i can hunt from? rookie here.
