The United Trappers of Kentucky will be having their spring meet May 6-8, 2005. If you have any questions, please post them on the trapping forum. Below is a schedule of events.
UTK Spring Meet May 6-8, 2005
JM Feltner 4-H Camp Laurel County Ky
Friday Arrival until noon Hamburgers, hot dogs, pop, chips, for sale for lunch. Kids, all weekend fishing contest. Trophy for most and biggest fish.

1:00 Furhandling Dave Kriege Coon
2:00 Furhandling Chet Hayes Mink
3:00 Furhandling John Sparks Putting up beaver
4:00 Furhandling Matt Jones Handling otter
5:00 Furhandling or set demo Lynn Williams
5:00 Wagon rides for the kids (and adults)
6:00 Dinner( Buffalo burgers) and free time and visiting until bed , story telling by Bad Eye Payne.
Saturday
Breakfast Doughnuts, pastries, coffee for sale
11:00 and 01:00 Bird house/feeder building for the kids. 12 and under free. Over 12, small fee.
Dude Davis making custom turkey calls and antler ink pens all day.
09:00 Demo Stacey White Log crossings for fox, cat, and coon
10:00 Demo David Maehr current Bear and Elk management in Kentucky
10:00 Horse (basketball) tournament for the kids begins
11:00 Demo Stephen Pickard A couple of Ky cat sets
12:00 Lunch Hamburger, hot dogs etc.
1:00 Demo Justin Walker Coyote Trapping
1:00 Trap setting contest for 11 and under and 12 and up.
2:00 Demo Leon Smith – Ex Colorado govmt. Trapper on bear and mountain lion control.
3:00 Demo Matt Jones Coon trapping

6:00 Old Fashioned Hog roast
7:00 Bluegrass/gospel music Mountain Heir
