I was looking at a combo disc / seeder pull behind tool at Lowes for $159. Anyone use one of these and to they work well for food plots?
Thanks,

I wouldn't count on it to break much ground. Might be fine for lawns or ground already worked, but won't do much for starting a new food plot.

I was thinking for how soft the ground is that it might work. I have been looking for something to go behind the ATV, but most of the are pretty $$$$$$$.

I think you'll find most ATV ground breaking equipment to be a disappointment. Your better off hiring the work done or buying a small farm tractor and used farm equipment. Food plot work is hard on equipment with roots and stumps, etc. to work around.

You have the right idea and I wish I could get a local farmer. Trouble is the local folks have had the run of the place for a long time. Now I am trying to keep them off the property and they are not much on doing me a favor.....

If all else fails..Try to rent equipment for a day...Alot cheaper then buying.
