For the UBK lurkers

What would you be willing to give up to keep crossbows out of the first part of the season ? Would you be willing to remove all bows from any other season such as modern firearm, muzzleloader, crossbow, youth firearms ?

Ok, I'm a member of the UBK. I've held my tongue until now. I've read almost everything going on here. I'm pretty sick of it all. If you all didn't get your way with the x-bow vote, you would be cryin and whinin too, you just won't admit that. You may not even realize it. I went to the meeting and was disappointed with the outcome, why?, mainly because I don't believe an x-bow is a bow. Now what is really bothering me is the separation of the anti's versus you x-bow guys. I'm seriously sick of it and don't intend to read anymore about it. We've got both sides calling names and saying " they did or said this" it's all BULLSHIT!!!
What it boils down to is the fact that we MUST get along and support our fellow hunters even if we don't use the same equipment. I hunt with a longbow and a recurve, but really don't believe a scope belongs on a muzzleloader, but I still hunted with one of my best friends this past ML season who was using one. WE MUST STICK TOGETHER. This is what the anti-hunters love to see and what gives them ammo.
I still don't like that there will be x-bows in archery season but I'm willing to accept them just because I think it's the right thing to do.
I'm logging off this site now and don't intend to come back just because I'm so tired of it all. Flame me if you want, I'll never know it.

Hello all, I was at work when Duster posted his thread so now I will respond. You are incorrect in asking if I would give up any of my archery during the other various seasons. I hunt with a muzzle loader, 300 Win Mag, Love Fall gun turkey season, SO no I would not give up carrying a bow during these seasons because Iam not bowhunting then anyway. Crossbows have their own season, they are not a bow and don't belong in bow season, they have a stock carry them in gun season if ya want. This is about crossbows in the regular archery season and if you want to keep making stupid statements like give up your bow in gun season go ahead. A compound requires a person to draw and hold it no matter the let-off unlike a stocked crossbow.

guys im sorry and im done with it, my money is in the mail and im gonna support this crossbow issue that way ,not in here because it isnt solveing anything so i say it again im sorry and will agree to disagree you shoot what you want and let the other guy shoot his we are all still hunters no matter what we use for a weapon,i just got caried away

I agree, lets defeat the Anti's not each other and if I see ya in the field and you need help dragging I will be the first to help no matter how ya took it, of course if it's like the buck I took 2 weeks ago he fell dead close to my truck, but man $6000 was a pricy deer:-)
