That is a big deer, never seen one with a mane before either. And I would almost swear there is someone riding it like a horse?

When I was much younger (11 I think), an acquaintance of mine shot a farmer's pony mistaking it for a deer. I'm sure that's been done by others too.

When I lived in Grant co. someone shot a neighbors colt.They even left an apology note saying they thought it was deer. No, it wasn`t me.i was hunting in Owen co. at the time.
