Anybody been hunting? What's the word? Any ducks/success? Maybe we're all locked up...havn't been out myself, but would sure like to be. Can't wait to go to Reelfoot this weekend.

I been hunting in West KY and have killed over my limit of time [:(] Seen a slew of blackbirds though..lol I hope things pick up at Reelfoot for you I hunted a week down there last week and the hunting left a lot to be desired. The last day I hunted the ducks didn't fly worth a flip, but the geese flew real good. If this weather hasn't pushed more ducks down, you'll probably do more looking than shooting. Are you going on a guided hunt? I am fixing to call my Grandpa who owns a resort down there and I'll get you a report on the hunting.

Which resort does grandpa own down there? Yep, it's a guided hunt. First time I've been, but I've heard it's either hit or miss just like anywhere else. If you hit it right, you can get some good bruises on your shoulder so I hope mine is black and blue when I go back to work on Monday!

I just got off the phone with my Grandpa, and he said the hunting at Reelfoot nhas got a little better. I plan on going down there tommorow, and hunting a couple three days. Hopefully the birds will work in like they're supposed to instead of making pass after pass only to head off to who knows where. I could use a few good days of hunting after looking into empty skys for days on end [8D]

ceo my Grandparents own and operate Hamilton's resort. He said he had a group coming from KY so maybe it is your group. Things were looking up last night, right out in front of the resort I saw hundreds maybe thousands of duck flying and setting down on the lake. I hunted in some fields today and didn't see much flying but there was a lot of shooting on the lake though. I hope y'all have a good shoot.

Reelfoot was a bust this weekend. I sure am glad it was free! Maybe they will have some open water in Jackson this coming weekend.

By the way, we didn't hunt with Hamiltons. Maybe if we had, we could have killed a few.

ceo I called to see how everyone did Saturday. Two blinds out in front of the resort both killed 10 a piece, and one in the Burnt Woods killed 20. I hunted a different blind in the fields and saw about 20 geese in different groups, and one group of ducks a mile away. I left at 9:30, and I was told from 10:30 to 2:00 that my cousin also in the fields killed 14 after I left. That's the way it goes, after I leave they the ducks start flying..lol I'll be going down again Weds and hunt a few days hopefully they'll fly good to finish the season out.
