Yes I was just wondering if I could get some feedback on the comp-n-choke for the 835 ulti-mag. I bought one today, it was the .670 constriction. Just wondering what to expect from the pattern results. Ive been using the factory ulti full and it didnt impress me that much. I can stilltake it back and get a different constriction if i want... Thanks Alot...
.670 is pretty tight for an 835...I don't know what loads you were plannin' on shooting, but I think I would try some 6 shot...It will probably do fine...They make some good chokes!

Should work well with 6's. I have a .675 Kick's (same as C-n-C - made by same people) and it shoots 5's and 6's as good as any non Nitro type combo I have ever seen. I haven't hunted with it in a few years, but I have killed a lot of turkeys with it...

Comp-N-Choke make excellent after market choke tubes. I use them on trap and sporting clays. I have talked with the company owner through Jon Kruger, who uses their chokes in sporting clays. When I asked Charlie about the use of hevi-shot for my turkey gun, he told me "Do not use our chokes with any constriction tighter than full with Hevi-shot!".. They are fine for copperplated lead or other LEAD shot. Make sure any choke you try is made for ""Steel, Hevi-shot and other super hard shot."" I have hundreds of choke tubes and have found the $20.00 (app.) HEVI-SHOT tube from Bass Pro works the best in my Browning Gold 3 1/2" turkey gun. Use strictly #5 Hevi-Shot in 3" for chamber backed up with two #4 or #5 3 1/2" in Mag. tube. Have never needed the second or third shot but there just in case. Good luck and gobble big!
