what is your opion for this turkey season. i think it will be one the best seasons i have hunted. i have only hunted for 3 years but im think this season(making my 4th) will be awsome. hopefully ill tag out saturday morning for youth and sunday morning for youth that way i can go and watch them again and/or help some one kill one. mybe i could help jeff sence he aint got one yet.:D ;)

I might end up hunting a new spot this year, so it could be great or a bust. I need to get down there and scout a little better before my season if I can hunt there. See them a lot in the fall when bowhunting, but I know they are in different places for the spring, so I'll have to see if it's worth changing spots. Where I usually hunt, I have 3-4 different places I can go within 5-10 minutes of each other, so if one spot is a bust in the morning, I can cruise and look around for awhile at mid-day to see if I spot any out. I think it's going to be fun though. New gun, lots of excitement, and I'm taking my girlfriend out again this year for a day, so I hope we have some good luck.

This will be my ninth season huntin' turkeys. Last year was a tough one here in Kentucky, I thought, and I've spoke with several others that thought the same. The birds just didn't seem like they wanted to co-operate much at all! I ended up with one on the second day of season...Ended my 3 year run of opening day success...:(...Hopefully this year will be a great one and the birds will co-operate a little more willingly!!

Amen Tim! The birds here were acting weird last year too. If you made the slightest call, they would run the other direction. And we mostly saw gobblers and jakes grouped up throughout the season. I've been turkey hunting for 6 years now cree. You've been turkey hunting for about 4 right? I dont think i need your help.:D I have more exerience turkey hunting than you, and ive had more opportunities to kill birds than you, but i was waiting for something bigger. I dont think ill be needing you help this year either.:D
