Strutting

I'm looking at 12 hens and 2 toms out my back window, maybe crossbow range from the deck. Both Toms are in full strut and putting on a show. Looks like a glorious Spring again this year.

Haven't yet seen my first strutter or heard my first gobbler of the year...Glad to hear they are doin' it though!! Just wish they were doin' it out my back window...;)

I get to see geese fly over from the office window, but no turkeys any where close to here. Can't wait to see and hear the first ones of the year. Maybe this weekend.

Here we go again with the crossbow deal:rolleyes:. The only turkey ive saw strutting yet was a jake behind my house. m seeing all kinds of gobblers, but i havent heard any gobblin' yet. I'm going out this weekend early morning to see if i can hear something.

I wish it would warm up some, this weather is killin' me! I'm wantin' to get out and listen, but I'd prefer some better weather!

I saw a nice longbeard a few mornings ago goinf at it out in a field all by his lonesome.

Saw a couple of big toms struttin the other day as well. The toms were with oodles of hens....still no gobblin here, but it ain't far off.

You guys seeing turkey's are a killin me. I'm up here in IN were it is freezing cold, no turkeys to be seen. Maybe someday soon!

Took a trip to Grayson this past weekend to bring a load of stuff down for my buddy that is wisely moving back to KY from NY and we saw flock after flock at the camp that we hunt. No gobbles but lots of birds! Should be a good spring for birds in KY! I enjoy the winter up here in NY because I get to ice fish but it was depressing coming back to 18" of snow after 4 wheeling all day Saturday in a tee shirt and jeans in Grayson.

i counted 23 saterday out the back door , heard the noise. lots of gobbling.saw 7 big toms. looks like a good year

I looked at a crossbow in the Cabelas catalog today, hope nobody is offended.

Saw about six strutters here in Morehead with gobs of hens. Ive been seeing them about 2 or 3 times a week. I believe i filmed the same gobblers about a month ago, in the same field.
