help with avtar

tyring to get avatar but even when i resize it to 40x60 pixels it says i exceed the quota by 593 bytes. any help appreciated

Do you know what the size is in MB? I think they have to be under 19 or 20 MB as well as 80x80 or smaller.

It has to be under 19.5 Kb.
Check and make sure it is a JPEG file. gifs, tifs and bmp will work also.
Send it to me in an e-mail and I can edit it into your profile

This is what I had to do to post a picture:

Drag the picture to the desktop

Double click on it and (if you have microsoft office picture manager) you can condense the picture from there.

It took me a couple of times, but finally worked on my dog picture.
