2 weeks until it's turkey season again. Ala/ Miss. open March 15th. It's almost here. Anyone else heading south to get an early start???

I may be heading to Alabama to hunt the opener. My buddy has a farm east of Montgomery. Still working out the details. I am setting up to do some youth hunts for the Ky youth season too.

You shouldn't post stuff like that! Don't you know that causes turkey hunter envy! I'm very jealous!!!! If you don't mind PM me some details on the Hawaii hunt. Thinking of taking the wife for our 10th anniverary(especially if I could combine it with a turkey hunt).

I don't have to head south - I'm already here. Should get to hunt Florida's Big Cypress WMA Area (just north of the Everglades) about the 7th or 8th of March for my first try at an Osceola. The season opens the 5th but on public land I'll always skip a Saturday opener if possible. I'll drive north to KY in April if I get drawn for an LBL quota hunt and then head up to Ohio in May for the last week of the Ohio season. Nice to be retired and have a 45mpg Geo that's still running. Good luck to everyone this season.

The Hawaii trip should be a great one.

I hunted merriams in Montana, on the Musselshell river 2 years ago. Beautiful country and lots of birds, Good luck.

New Zealand was ridiculoous. My group of 5 guys killed over 100 gobblers in 5 days - and we hunted a lot of different things. It is pushing ridiculous as far as turkey hunting goes. Beautiful place though...
