I think I have my mind made up to purchase a double bull blind to take my grand daughter out turkey hunting (more like watching with a six year old). She's still too small to shoot, so youth season is out for a couple of years. I really don't want to get in the big debate over what's better. I'm looking for who sells these at a good price. Seems everyone I've checked is $399.00 for the new matrix. Seen a couple on ebay..... but does DB set the price at the retail level or can you get them cheaper anywhere?????

Seriously, the Ameristep"Brickhouse"blind is practically the same(just a touch smaller, still plenny room) for half the price with better camo. But no doubt, you get what u pay for and the DB is the flagship of blinds!

I haven't used any of the Double Bull Blinds, but I will also say the Ameristep blinds are a good deal. Cheaper, they look good, and work very well.

I can't imagine paying anywhere close to $300 for a blind.

My daughter, nephew and I started with an Ameristep Doghouse, $125. I see they are cheaper now. Darn near wore it out in 4 years. It's still good to leave out all season, but you have to climb in through a window. One bad zipper.

Last year I bought 2 Hunter's View Wig Wam blinds. 60 something delivered, ebay. They were $54 plus shipping in Jan, due to Spring being close they're up to $69. Like the camo better and the material is better than Ameristep. They didn't shrink like the tent material of Ameristep, which breaks zippers. Both were in the woods from Oct to Feb, they are fine.

I still can't believe the animals you see, and for how long, in these things. It borders on unfair. I've threatened many times to hunt with a sword, could have filled many tags this way.

Many a deer have been taken on cold and rainy days. But we have to move the propane heater from between our legs to take a shot(grin). 20 degrees outside, 60 inside.

My daughter got bullwinkle out of one 2 years ago. We watched him for 10 minutes for the perfect shot.

Nope, don't work for these companies, just swear by their products. Got the videos and full freezer to prove it.

Don't waste your money!!!!
