Aw Pooge, now we are never gonna convince him to start planting it! I was hoping he would plant it and I wouldn't have to worry about him any more.

I plan on trying to plant some this year on places on our power line and in my foodplot. Any of you out there plant this? If so, how good were the results?

I've also heard that it needs sandy soil. But ive heard that if the soil is really loose, you could get away without sand.

Get ready to put out some $$$ for seed, that stuff ain't cheap. We planted about 5 acres here a couple years ago and it didn't do very well in the clay. I would say about 50% came up and it didn't produce the legumes like it should.
We called it Turkey Peanuts....LOL
