Anybody ever hunt the KY River?

Went this morning, saw one nice size group of 20+ birds but that was it, they didn't work. Curious to see if anyone hunts it on a regular basis.

I hunt the Kentucky on a regular basis and do pretty good.You got to hunt it when ponds and sloughs are froze. If the the small water is not froze then the river is a bust.It also seems the ducks like certain areas of the river better than others. What we do is float and find the hotspots on the river and where we are seeing the most ducks is where we set up. These hotspots seem to stay the same through out the season.
